Four persons represented Jamaica at the WorldSkills International competition in Japan in 2007. They represented Jamaica in the following areas. Software Application, Web Design, Beauty Services and Cooking. They are all doing very well. They have grown professionally
Our WorldSkills Jamaica ambassadors are Orane Johnson (Software Application), Marlon Maulsby(Web Design), Alia Wedderburn (Beauty services) and Bryan Lumley(Cooking) Bryan is currently the Personal Chef to the French Ambassador at the French Embassy.
Marlon Maulsby is currently a Junior Programmer Analyst at the Information Technology Center, Heart Trust NTA as well as a part time lecturer at the Vocational Training Development Institute (VTDI).

Our WorldSkills Jamaica ambassadors are Anesha Simpson (Software Application), Omar Johnson(Web Design), Daniel Clarke (Beauty services) and Nichardo Whitelocke(cooking) Anesha is now a Learning Facilitator at Holy Trinity High School in the area of Information Technology.
Omar Johnson is now a Web Master at Digital Technology. Nickhardo just by participating in the WorldSkills Competition was recognized for his performance for his excellent performance and got an email with an offer to work at Ritz Carlton Hotel in Miami which is where he is presently. Danielle Clarke is now an entrepreneur in Boston USA in Beauty Services.
