Four persons represented Jamaica at the WorldSkills International competition in Finland in 2005. They represented Jamaica in the following areas. Software Application, Web Design, Beauty Services and Cooking. They are all doing very well. They have grown professionally.
Our WorldSkills Jamaica ambassadors are Anesha Simpson (Software Application), Omar Johnson(Web Design), Daniel Clarke (Beauty services) and Nichardo Whitelocke(cooking) Anesha is now a Learning Facilitator at Holy Trinity High School in the area of Information Technology.
Omar Johnson is now a Web Master at Digital Technology. Nickhardo just by participating in the WorldSkills Competition was recognized for his performance for his excellent performance and got an email with an offer to work at Ritz Carlton Hotel in Miami which is where he is presently. Danielle Clarke is now an entrepreneur in Boston USA in Beauty Services.
