HEART TRUST/NATIONAL TRAINING AGENCY
The Human Employment and Resource Training Agency (HEART Trust/NTA) was established as a statutory body under the HEART Act in 1982 to govern the development and delivery of Technical Vocational Education and Training in Jamaica. Its core business emphasizes training and certification of Jamaican citizens for employment, while regulating and setting standards for the TVET system in Jamaica.

Skills Sector Sub-Committee
The Skills Sector Sub-Committee has responsibility for the preparation of competitors (in relation to specific skill and sector areas) to ensure effective participation in eliminations, national and international competitions. The Committee operates in conjunction with the National Skills Unit and is chaired and co-chaired by persons who have sound pre-requisites to ensure competitors perform at their optimum in relation to standards that are established by WorldSkills International and WorldSkills Jamaica.

The Worldskills Youth Forum was indeed a success, 29 Delegates under the guidance of 5 facilitators blended their creativity in conceptualizing viral campaigns that targeted different groups of people across the world who could help to increase an awareness and appreciation for Vocational Education and Worldskills International.
